Согласна с автором поста. Смотреть последний мувик наруты это просто разрушить тот образ Наруто. который живет в моем сознании уже много лет. Не хочу. Я не хочу терять этого яркого мальчишку, который идет до конца. который верен себе и своим чувствам.
Hello everyone. I guess what I feel the need to speak about today is the rumors surrounding the plot of the new movie. Forgetting the fact that this movie is basically manufacturing Naruto’s relationship from out of thin air, after all how can you claim something was destined to be when they have to generate flashbacks that never appeared in the manga to explain a Naru/Hina pairing. But what I find the most unacceptable is the idea that in order to explain how a ninja known for never giving up, gives up on his first love is to explain his feelings for Sakura were all a part of a fucked up rivalry with Sasuke.
Does Kishimoto not realize what this revelation does to his character? Does he realize how incredibly shallow this makes Naruto, a person that we were supposed to believe had such depths of character that he continuously talked his villains into reexamining their motives and lives? How could he do this when his own actions in regards to a girl he supposedly loved were so impure. Does he not realize just how much of a betrayal to his fans this is? Fans, who if this turns out to be true, he has effectively been lying to for 15 years. What was the point of telling everyone Naruto cared for her, but then leaving out that everything he felt for her was tied to his need to best Sasuke? Naturally it doesn’t even begin to answer the question of what makes Sakura special when every girl in the academy was chasing after him.
At the end of the day I will not be able to watch The Last. Not because of the pairing, but because it assassinates the character of Naruto in order to achieve it. It fabricates new evidence to support a paring that had almost no screen time in a manga that lasted for 15 years and 700 chapters. I feel that I shouldn’t even need to point out that if Naru/Saku had become canon a beautiful scene could have been created between Naruto and Sakura involving her finally learning who it really was that had complimented her forehead on the bench scene in chapter 3. Something that would have been supported by the actual work and not a movie scene fabricated from nothing as we will likely see in The Last.
How Kishimoto could look over his work for the past 15 years and say this movie is an acceptable addition to it, I cannot even begin to fathom. I have never wished a movie to fail before, but can no longer claim that is the case. The reason being, is that I fear that if this does succeed then it will become common practice for an author to grow lazy and allow animation studios to hijack his creation because a side character becomes more popular than a character he intended to have a leading role. Ultimately, when that happens there will be no point in actually reading a work, all you will need to do is skip to the end and catch a movie. Because little or nothing found in the manga actually would contribute to it. Instead, characters that receive all their development in anime fillers produced by the studio will have any bearing on what you get in the end.
For Kishimoto to let that happen though is what truly destroyed the tale of the Gutsy Ninja that was Naruto. For at the end of the day, he is the one that abandoned his way of the shinobi.
